These are the rules for using Shopkeep Sentry. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them.
Who we are
Shopkeep Sentry provides monitoring, alerts, and appeal-writing tools for online sellers. We are not affiliated with Etsy, Inc. or any other marketplace we support.
Appeal Builder — limitations of our service
The Appeal Builder produces a draft letter based on your inputs and the templates we provide. We are not affiliated with Etsy (see “Who we are” above). Using the Appeal Builder means you accept the following:
- The final letter, the evidence you choose to include, and the submission to Etsy are entirely your responsibility. We do not file the appeal for you and we do not contact Etsy on your behalf.
- We do not guarantee any specific outcome. Reinstatement, denial, or any other decision is solely Etsy's. We have no influence over Etsy's review process and no ability to escalate appeals.
- We are not lawyers and the Appeal Builder is not legal advice. If your appeal involves intellectual property, copyright, trademark, a DMCA counter-notice, or any matter you believe may have legal consequences, consult a qualified attorney before submitting.
- We are not responsible for: (a) the outcome of your appeal, (b) lost shop revenue or any other consequence of a denied appeal, or (c) any other consequence of using the Appeal Builder.
- Your subscription covers access to the tooling and guidance — not a guaranteed outcome. We do not refund subscriptions on the basis of an appeal being denied.
- You use the Appeal Builder at your own discretion.
Acceptable use
Use Shopkeep Sentry for what it is built for: watching your shops, reading your alerts, and writing your appeals. Do not use it to send spam, do not try to reverse-engineer it, and do not use it to break the rules of any marketplace it connects to.
Not legal advice
Our suspension appeal builder produces informational templates based on your inputs. It is not legal advice. Outcomes depend on your situation and the marketplace's judgment, and we do not guarantee any specific result.
Subscription and billing
Pro is billed monthly or annually through Stripe. You can cancel from your Billing page whenever you want. Lifetime is a one-time purchase and is refundable within 14 days of purchase.
What Lifetime covers
Lifetime covers every Pro feature of the core product, including support for new marketplaces as we ship them (Amazon, Shopify, eBay, and others). It does not guarantee any specific future feature.
Abusive communication
Abusive, threatening, or harassing communication directed at Shopkeep Sentry through any channel — including support emails, replies to alerts, or messages to our team — results in immediate suspension of your account and forfeiture of any remaining subscription value. We do not refund forfeited subscriptions. If you believe a suspension was made in error, you may appeal by writing from a different email address to appeals@shopkeepsentry.com within 14 days.
Ending your account
You can close your account whenever you want, from Settings → Data. We can close accounts that seriously abuse the service. If we do, we will give you reasonable notice first.
Limits on our responsibility
The service is provided as-is. Our total responsibility to you, for anything that goes wrong, is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the issue.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the product changes. If we make a material change, we will give Pro users 30 days' notice by email before it takes effect.
